Galaxy a condensation “killer”

No matter what building, condensation is a major threat to the structure of a building.  All heat has moisture in it.  Heat usually condensates against surfaces. This happens when the temperature on the outside and the temperature on the inside are significantly different.  In cold climates, pressure difference can drive warm air into lofts and walls, this then condensates as it cools.  The same happens in hot climates but in reverse. As the humid outdoor air enters the loft and walls to find cooler cavities it condensates into water vapour.

Regardless of any climate, it is important to minimise water vapour migration to allow free passage of water vapour out.  Galaxy was developed for this purpose being a perforated radiant barrier this will substantially assist the reduction of condensation and prevent moisture problems in buildings.

    Galaxy will block 97% of heat radiation, this is a ideal energy conservation  material

     an easy low cast solution of preventing the passage of radiant energy, or solar heat

     into buildings the use of a radiant barrier to reflect heat back to its source.

    Galaxy is very flexible and ideally should be installed in place of felt or other roof

     membranes, Galaxy is waterproof the core is a woven polyester sheet, simular to

     material used in camping ground sheets, We would be happy to send samples

     and the specs for the material.   The material will be certified by the BBA in due

      course, we have test documents completed by Atlas Laboratory ( independant

       material test centre) September 2005.
